Uber Drivers Hoping To Make Pick-Ups At MSP Airport
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Uber X drivers are hoping they will one day be allowed to pick up passengers from the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
The company is asking Uber-users to ask airport commissioners to pass an ordinance that would allow that. Right now, licensed taxis are the main source of transportation from the MSP Airport.
Uber's lower-cost service, Uber X, is not allowed to make pick-ups. UberX says they can offer lower fares. The public meeting is scheduled for Jan. 4, 2016.
