'U' Police: Dorm Rape Victim Knew Her Attackers
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- University of Minnesota police now say a student who says two men raped her in her dorm room knew her attackers.
The attack happened early Sunday morning at Sanford Hall.
The student originally told police she didn't know the men who approached her in the hallway outside her room.
She says one man threatened her with a knife and both sexually assaulted her.
Police say Wednesday night they are no longer investigating the incident as a stranger sexual assault, and there is no immediate threat to public safety.
