Mumps Confirmed In 6 U Of M Students
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The University of Minnesota is urging students to look out for the symptoms of mumps.
There are six confirmed cases of the highly-contagious viral infection among students.
The university says at least five of the students had been vaccinated.
Symptoms of mumps include fever, headaches and swollen salivary glands under the ears.
Students with symptoms are urged to isolate themselves and seek treatment.
