MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis liquor store owner George Medich says he doesn't know what happens to his little liquor bottles after they're purchased, but he has an idea.
"To be honest with you, (the bottles are) easier to get into a game," said Medich.
With no alcohol allowed at tonight's Vikings game against the Chicago Bears, Medich expects those tiny bottles to be popular.
"We've got over 4,000 of those little airport minis alone," said Medich. "We sell those bottles to our customers and what the customers choose to do with those bottles is their choice."
University of Minnesota athletic director Joel Maturi says campus securities main focus is not going to be cracking down on illegal drinking. He says it's going to be on overall public safety.
"I think most people can do without an alcoholic beverage for three or four hours," said Maturi. "Obviously we want people to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner. We are on campus exams are taking place."
Campus police say if you're caught with alcohol, it's up to the officer to decide if you will be cited.
"The NFL does have pat-downs," said Maturi. "It may happen on occasion, we all know that. But that's not our main focus for security. Our main focus is that people are safe and have a good experience."
