Twins Single-Game Tickets Go On Sale Feb. 22
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Twins announced Tuesday that single-game tickets for the 2014 regular season will go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22.
Twins officials also said tickets for the April 7 home opener will go on sale Friday, Jan. 24, which is also the first day of TwinsFest at Target Field. The Twins host the Oakland Athletics for their home opener in a three-game series April 7-9. That's followed by a three-game series against the Kansas City Royals, and the opening home stand concludes against the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Twins, coming off their third straight season with at least 90 losses, are hoping free agent signings in the offseason will help them improve in 2014. So far, those signings include pitchers Ricky Nolasco and Phil Hughes as well as catcher Kurt Suzuki. Manager Ron Gardenhire also signed a two-year contract extension in the off-season.
The Twins schedule includes 14 home games in April and May, 10 in June, 16 in July, 12 in August and 15 in September.
