Twins Release 2012 Spring Training Schedule
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Twins have announced their 2012 Spring Training schedule, which features 17 home games at Hammond Stadium.
The Twins pitchers and catchers are to report on Saturday, Feb. 18 for their first workout on Feb. 19. The rest of the squad is scheduled to report Feb. 23, with workouts beginning Feb. 24.
The 2012 Spring Training home opener will take place at Hammond Stadium at 1:05 p.m. on Saturday, March 3 against the Tampa Bay Rays.
The Spring Training schedule concludes with a home game at 1:05 p.m. Wednesday, April 4 against the Florida State League's Fort Myers Miracle.
Spring Training season and group tickets are now on sale and can be purchased by calling 1-800-33-TWINS and 612-33-TWINS.
Single-game tickets can be purchased beginning Saturday, Jan. 14 at their website, by visiting the Target Field Box Office or at the Hammond Stadium box office in Fort Myers.
