Twins Reach 1-Year Deals With Liriano, Perkins
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Twins announced Tuesday that they have avoided arbitration and reached agreements on contracts with pitchers Glen Perkins and Francisco Liriano.
Both agreed to 1-year deals with the Twins on Tuesday. Liriano will make $5.5 million this season and Perkins will earn $1.55 million.
The only Twins player left that's not signed an eligible for arbitration is infielder Alexi Casilla, who filed for arbitration at $1.75 million. The Twins have offered him $1.065 million. He made $865,000 last season.
