Twins Push Back Game Time For Blyleven Speech
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The Minnesota Twins have pushed back the start time for Sunday's game against the Detroit Tigers to 3:10 p.m. to accommodate Bert Blyleven's Hall of Fame induction speech.
The game was originally scheduled to start at 1:10 p.m. Blyleven is scheduled to start speaking at 1:50 p.m. Blyleven's speech will be shown on the video screens at Target Field. The gates open at 1 p.m.
The right-hander with the wicked curveball spent almost 11 years with the Twins during his career. He now works as a color commentator for Twins television broadcasts.
