The Twins broke an 18-game postseason losing streak when they beat the Blue Jays 3-1 Tuesday. Royce Lewis hit two home runs in the first two postseason at bats of his career. Jhoan Duran closed with a hitless ninth inning to give the Twins their first playoff win since 2004.
When is first pitch for game two?
Wednesday's game is set to start at 3:38 p.m. at Target Field. Gates open at 1:30 p.m.
Who are the starting pitchers?
For the Twins, Sonny Gray will start game two. Gray, the Twins' ace, had a 2.79 ERA in his All-Star season, good for third in all of MLB.
Former Twin José Berríos will start for the Blue Jays. He had a down season in 2022, but rebounded nicely this year with a 3.65 ERA.
