Twins Fans Lament Tough Season
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - Twins fans are a bit down after losing their final home game of the season at Target Field Sunday. As they headed for their cars, many expressed frustration.

"It's pretty discouraging. I think we have totally drained our farm teams. We've got no one in the system to bring up. We spent all our money on Mauer and as much as I like him, he's hurting us long term," Nelson said.
Despite the losing season, the Twins said the season ended with the 4th highest all-time attendance record, with over 2.7 million fans. The 2010 and 2011 seasons rank first and second respectively, while the 1988 season is in third place for top annual attendance.
