Twins Blog: New Food At Target Field!
The Twins have unveiled their new food lineup for the 2016 season. While there were no big show surprises this year, the new items will not disappoint.
Fans will notice the team is sticking with a local theme again this season. Here are a selection of the new foods and notable additions to the menu.

Most of the new food items showed off Tuesday were at Hrbek's, located behind home plate. That's where fans will find the prime rib sliders, walleye tacos and the Buffalo Chicken Bloody Mary. For an additional charge you can add a bacon cheese burger and make everyone "ooh and ahh" as you head back to your seat.
Andrew Zimmer's A to Z Canteen is getting a bigger space. It is no longer a food truck, but a brick-and-mortar spot inside Gate 14.
Izzy's Ice Cream has expanded to new locations within the concourses. Flavors will be rotated monthly and the local ice cream shop is adding gelato at Sections 119 and 202.
On the lighter side, Roots For The Home Team Salads has added new, locally-grown and student-created salads to their menu.
The Loon Cafe has a portable stand near Section 101. It will serve its signature Red Chili and Grape Ape cocktails.
The Hot Pretzel Bites & Brews cart is a new food concept I think fans will really like. There are three varieties to choose from: savory (rich beef gravy and then sprinkled with Monterey jack cheese), sweet (macerated berries, a Nutella sauce and a dollop of fresh whipped cream) and local (Summit beer cheese sauce, topped with candied bacon and dusted with a hint of cayenne pepper). The cart is located just inside Gate 34 near Section 101.

The biggest change to the ballpark in the off season is also home to some great food options. The Twins renovated the outfield seating section to include two levels for fans to watch the game. The upper deck, which is directly below the neon outfield sign, is called Minnie & Paul's. It is an open gathering area that serves Minnesota-branded foods, most notably Pizza Lucé (including gluten-free and vegan options) and Red Cow (hamburgers and turkey burgers).
The Twins have also provided this list of other returning favorites to the ballpark: Kramarczuk's Sausages, Angie's Kettle Corn, Turkey To Go, Tony O's Cuban Sandwich, Andrew Zimmern's Canteen, The Bigger Better Bloody Mary Cart (Section 114), Roots for the Home Team, Mac's Walleye and Chips, Butcher and the Boar, Pepsi, Old Dutch Chips, Taste of Schwan's, Schweigert Hot Dogs, Sheboygan Sausages, Dairy Queen, Izzy's Ice Cream, J&J Snacks, Anheuser Busch, Summit, Koops Mustard, Aquafina, Papa John's, Giant Snacks, Super Mom's Mini Donuts, Killebrew Root Beer, Funacho, Pan O'Gold, Fisher Nuts, Caribou Coffee, Barrio at Gate 6, Murray's, Darby's, Surly, Fulton, Lift Bridge, Perfect Pickle, JD Hoyt's, Kemps Malt Cup, Du Nord, Panther, Franklin Street Bakery, B Smith's Olive Oil and Ken Davis BBQ.
