Twins Announce Dates For Fantasy Camp
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The Minnesota Twins have announced the dates for their annual baseball fantasy camp in Fort Myers, Fla.
The Twins will hold the 2012 camp from Jan. 7-15 at the team's spring training home at Hammond Stadium.
Participants pay a fee to become Twins for a week. They get their own personalized uniform, use of the team's clubhouse and spring training facilities and play on the Hammond Stadium field where Joe Mauer and the big leaguers play every March.
Former Twins including Bert Blyleven, Tony Oliva, Kent Hrbek and Frank Viola will be on hand to give instruction and interact with the campers.
More information on the camp can be found at www.twinsbaseball.com.
