Twin Cities Man Finds Closure in Qaddafi's Capture

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Twin Cities man whose brother died in the Pan Am 103 bombing is feeling closure from the capture (and possible death) of Moammar Qaddafi.

Rob Berrell wondered if this day would ever come.

"Oh man. It's coming up on 23 years. It was 1988. So it's been a long time," he said.

Berrell's 20 year-old brother, Steve, was one of three dozen Syracuse University students who died in the Pan Am bombing over Scotland.

"Obviously, we've moved on with our lives but it's something that needed to happen. It just took way too long," he said.

Berrell said the end of Qaddafi's reign doesn't bring back his brother, but it does provide some closure.
