Twin Cities Gas Prices Fall Below $2 Per Gallon
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – There is some good news if you're among the many who will be commuting to celebrate Thanksgiving with family.
Officials with AAA said Monday that the average price for a gallon of gas across the Twin Cities fell to $1.99. That's down five cents from last week, and it's down 17 cents from last month.
It's even less expensive a little further north and south of the Twin Cities. In Duluth, the average price for a gallon of gas is $1.94, and in Rochester it's $1.91.
AAA officials say the national average is currently $2.17. Stay tuned if you're driving for Thanksgiving. Prices can and often do change right before you head out to dive into that turkey.
