Tuskegee Airmen Exhibit Brings History To Life
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - This weekend, families are getting the unique opportunity to learn about a piece of history that's often overlooked.
The Tuskegee Airmen were the first African-American pilots to fight in World War II.
They navigated bombers and helped protect other pilots in the war.
A traveling exhibit celebrating their legacy stopped at the Shiloh Temple in Minneapolis on Saturday. It included Retired Tuskegee Airman Major Joseph Gomer.
