Trench Collapse Kills Teen In River Falls, Wis.
RIVER FALLS, Wis. (WCCO) -- A 19-year-old man is dead after a trench collapsed on him Thursday, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department.
The Sheriff's Department received a call shortly after noon about a trench collapse at a residence in Gilman Township. When emergency responders arrived, they determined James Tilson, of rural River Falls, was killed due to injuries received in the collapse. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident is being investigated.
