Towns Hits Impressive Shot That Doesn't Give Timberwolves Any Points
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – In Wednesday night's game against the Oklahoma Thunder, Karl-Anthony Towns made an almost unbelievable trick shot that, sadly, didn't earn the Timberwolves a single point.
At the end of the 1st quarter just after Ricky Rubio got fouled, Towns hustles to save the ball from going out of bounds.
With his back to the basket Towns grabs the ball and flicks it back toward the court, hitting a nothing-but-net two-point shot.

If the whistle hadn't been blown, or Towns hadn't stepped out of bounds, this may have helped Minnesota push past Oklahoma in the end.
But, alas, these things did happen and the points were not awarded to Minnesota.
And the Thunder rolled.
