WATCH: Towns Drops Brutal Dunk On Raptors' Valanciunas

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Timberwolves were once again doomed by a lackluster second half Thursday, but the team can take solace in the fact that Karl-Anthony Towns continues to be one of the best young players in the game.

The Wolves fell to the Toronto Raptors 124-110 Thursday, despite strong efforts from Towns, Zach Lavine and Andrew Wiggins. Towns had the play of the night, though, when he dropped a massive dunk on Jonas Valanciunas.

Towns fooled two other Raptors on the play, faking a handoff to Wiggins before driving to the basket and slamming a downright disrespectful dunk on the Raptors' 7-foot center.

Towns had 17 points and 11 rebounds in the losing effort, his 13th double-double of the season. The Wolves sit at 6-16.
