Timberwolves Open At Home V. OKC On Dec. 26
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota Timberwolves will open the regular season at home against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Dec. 26.
The two teams were scheduled to meet that same night under the previous schedule, which had to be scratched after the NBA lockout canceled a month and a half of the season.
The NBA announced the schedule on Tuesday night. The Timberwolves will open with six of their first seven games at home, including a tough four-game stretch against heavyweights Dallas, Miami, San Antonio and Memphis.
The Wolves will play two sets of back-to-back-to-back games.
Other games of note include Kevin McHale's return to the Target Center as coach of Houston on Jan. 23, the Lakers' first visit on Jan. 29 and Kevin Garnett's return with Boston on March 30.
