Timberwolves Hold Annual Fundraiser Tues. Night
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves are holding their 16th annual "Taste of the Timberwolves" fundraising event at Target Center on Tuesday night.
Players, coaches and team officials will be on hand to help raise money for the team's FastBreak Foundation. The foundation supports programs that benefit young people in Minnesota.
Attendees who purchased a ticket in advance will be served food by players and team staff from some of the most well-known restaurants in the Twin Cities. There will also be a live auction and a game show featuring Timberwolves players.
Over the past 15 years, the event has raised more than $3 million for the FastBreak Foundation.
