Thom Pham's Wondrous Azian Kitchen Closes
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Diners in downtown Minneapolis will have one less choice following the unceremonious closure of Thom Pham's Wondrous Azian Kitchen yesterday.
The restaurant's website featured only the following statement: "Wondrous Azian Kitchen is now closed. Thank you to all our friends, family, and guests for your support and love.
"We look forward to seeing everyone at Azia Market!"
The restaurant also pulled down its Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest accounts.
Azia Market will be on Eat Street (Nicollet Avenue), the same haunt that Pham previously utilized for his earlier restaurant Azia and the Caterpillar Lounge, until issues with the landlord and his lease there forced him to close. Azia Market is reportedly set to open next month.
The Wondrous Azian Kitchen had been in operation for just over two years.
Pham was also behind the Thanh Do restaurant in St. Louis Park.
