Thanks, Mr. Rogers! Sweaters Back In Style This Fall
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- What we see on the runway during fashion week is usually not realistic for day-to-day wear. But occasionally you'll see some of the world's trendiest models geared up in functional, comfortable clothes.
That's why the WCCO Morning Show was so pleased to learn that sweaters are all the rage for men right now.
For Minnesota Fashion Week, which starts Friday, our men on the show got some tips and Natalie Nyhus got some tips on how to layer, how not look frumpy and how to save money.
Tim Creagan is the senior stylist with Style-Architects, a styling and event planning firm in Minneapolis.
Creagan said one of the most functional sweater styles is what he called "heritage prep," which Jason DeRusha models in the video above. Creagan pointed out that the style can be achieved by picking one of the neutrals in your shirts and going from there.

Mike Augustyniak tried on some marina wool, which is very casual -- suitable for wash-and-wear.
Creagan told Edward Moody that it's OK to spend a little more money on sweaters than other types of clothing because they should have more longevity.
If you want more ideas, here are a few more examples of fashionable sweaters you should consider incorporating into your daily look this fall.
