Texas Murder-Suicide Victims ID'd; Tip From Minn.
NEW ULM, Minn. (AP) — Authorities have identified three people found dead in a San Antonio house after a tip from a Minnesota trucking company.
Police believe 76-year-old Herbert Rishell shot his 67-year-old wife, Mary Rishell, and their son, 45-year-old George Rishell, to death before killing himself.
Employees at J&R Schugel in New Ulm became concerned about a driving team because they hadn't heard from the two in more than two weeks. The company had contracted with George and Herbert Rishell for more than a decade.
Authorities in New Ulm asked police in San Antonio to investigate.
Officers went to a house Thursday, looked through a window and saw Herbert Rishell dead in a chair. Police discovered George Rishell dead on a bedroom floor and Mary Rishell's body wrapped in a blanket in another room.
