Teen's Body Found In Lake Superior
DULUTH, Minn. (AP) -- The body of a missing Duluth teen has been recovered in Lake Superior.
The Duluth News Tribune reports the St. Louis County Search and Rescue Team recovered on Sunday the body of 13-year-old Jefferson Bowen Jr.
Bowen was swept away while swimming in the rain-swollen Lester River on Tuesday afternoon.
A recreational boater reported what they believed to be a body in the water about 1:40 p.m.
Officials responded and recovered the body about one-quarter mile from shore and nearly 2 miles from the mouth of the Lester River.
