Teens Arrested In Connection To Halloween Robbery
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in Alexandria say they've arrested four teenagers in connection to the Halloween night robbery where a group of masked suspects entered a home, looking for drugs and guns.
The robbery happened on the 400 block of 11th Avenue East. Police say a 14-year-old boy was handing out candy when the group approached, wearing hooded sweatshirts and ski masks. Two of them had long guns.
When the suspects entered the home, they demanded that the 14-year-old hand over any drugs in the house. They also demanded all the guns, and left with three firearms owned by the residents.
Those arrested in connection to the robbery were 19-year-old Caleb Styer, 16-year-old Kolten Neely, 16-year-old Devon Van Scoik, and a 14-year-old boy who was not named. All are from Alexandria.
Police did not immediately say how their investigation led to these teens.
