Teen Hospitalized After Chase, Stabbing In North Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A teenage boy is hospitalized Wednesday evening after a stabbing incident in north Minneapolis.
Police say it happened around 6:30 p.m., when two teenage boys and another person got into a confrontation near the intersection of Van White Boulevard and Olson Memorial Highway. Investigators say the incident turned into an attempted robbery, then a chase.
Authorities say the three then got into a second confrontation at the Olson Memorial Highway and Humboldt Avenue North, where one of the teenagers stabbed the other, and the third person ran off.
The injured teen is currently hospitalized, while the other stayed at the scene to talk to police.
