Task Force: Employees Find 16 Pounds Of Cocaine In Pallet
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Employees at a Cold Spring business found about 16 pounds of cocaine after accidentally damaging a wooden pallet, authorities say.
The street value of the cocaine, depending on the quality, could be in the range of $300,000-$700,000.
The Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force said the cocaine was found Thursday at a business that is not being named.
The task force said there is no reason to believe anyone at the business knew about the drugs.
At the time of writing, it is unclear how long the drugs had been in the pallet or how many places the pallet had been prior to being damaged.
Investigators are trying to determine where the pallet was prior to arriving at the business.
