Target Field Hosts Its 1st Concert With McGraw, Chesney
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Thousands of country music fans have taken over downtown Minneapolis in anticipation of tonight's first-ever concert at Target Field.
The Brothers of the Sun tour is a double-headliner of Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney. The music starts around 4:30 p.m. and goes well into the night.
A sell-out crowd of 40,000 fans will pack the venue to see the country superstars.
The Twins shot a video of the field being transformed into a concert venue.
It took just about 90 hours to build the huge stage.
There are actually two identical stages used on the tour, so the guys can play concerts back-to-back nights in different cities.
The Twins expect to hold a concert or two each summer.
