Target Center

When Minnesota welcomed an NBA franchise to the state in 1990, the city of Minneapolis also got a new venue for concerts, children's shows and high school sports all in the center of the city. As you walk into the ticket lobby, you can see what the original owners wanted from Target Center: "The primary purpose of this arena is for the entertainment of the people of Minnesota," is the Harvey Ratner & Marv Wolfensen quote engraved in the wall.
Outside the doors of the Target Center you can find nightlife, plenty of restaurants and shopping in the Warehouse District.
