Take A Step Back In Time At The Renaissance Festival
SHAKOPEE, Minn. (WCCO) -- The middle ages meet the 21st century as the annual Renaissance Festival kicks off Saturday morning in Shakopee.
For 43 years, visitors have been hanging with kings, knights, even mermaids.
King Henry lords over the 22-acre grounds.
He'll introduce you to the Fairy Wing Forest and the 15 different stages. Festival goers can indulge in 16h-century food, fashion and art.
The festival runs every weekend from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Sept. 29.
