SWAT Police In Standoff At Minnetonka Home
MINNETONKA, Minn. (WCCO) -- SWAT officers were involved in a standoff at a Minnetonka home Sunday, according to Minneapolis police.
Officers responded to a house near the intersection of Ridgedale Drive and Laurel Road, just west of Ridgedale Center. Only one person was inside, and officers first made contact with them at about 3:30 p.m.
The standoff ended at about 7 p.m. after the suspect committed suicide, authorities said.
