Body Found In Ashes From Moorhead House Fire
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The body of an individual was found among the ashes after a fire burned through a house in Moorhead Wednesday morning.
According to Moorhead Fire and Police Departments, just before 9 a.m. crews responded to a call of an active house fire in the 1010 block of 11th Avenue South.
After extinguishing the flames, responders did not immediately locate any victims inside the home.
However, after conducting a search, crews did the body of a deceased individual.
The identification of the person will be done through the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office.
The fire is currently under investigation.
The death is being looked at as suspicious and is being investigated by the BCA.
