Surfing Lake Superior Amid A Snowstorm
LAKE SUPERIOR, Minn. (WCCO) -- This weekend's snowstorm made for some good waves on Lake Superior.
It was enough for one Minnesotan to drive all the way from Nisswa to Duluth for some of that action.
Stand up paddle boarder Evan Lawrence sent WCCO some photos.
Lawrence says he saw four other surfers at a spot near Two Harbors. And he says the heavy snow made for "magical moments."
Lawrence owns the Minnesota Surf Company in Nisswa and surfs all around the world.
