Storm Leaves Hundreds Without Power In Grand Rapids, Kettle River
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A fast moving storm Thursday morning has left hundreds without electric service in Grand Rapids and Kettle River.
According to Lake Country Power (LCP), more than 1,200 of its members were affected, but crews have since repaired service for more than 570 members.
LCP says there are reports of trees on lines and downed power lines.
LCP line crews, including two from Mountain Iron, will be working throughout the day to restore service. Grand Rapids has the most outages.
