Stillwater Lift Bridge Resumes Operations For River Traffic
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Stillwater Lift Bridge resumes operations Tuesday, though since the St. Croix Crossing opened, cars no longer use the bridge.
Still, work is underway to turn the historic bridge into a pedestrian crossing.
From now until mid-October, the bridge will be staffed to go up and down for river traffic.
The bridge should open sometime next year to pedestrians.
