Stillwater Lift Bridge Ends 2013 Schedule
STILLWATER, Minn. (AP) -- The Stillwater Lift Bridge has ended its summer lift schedule for the year.
That means boaters may encounter delays as they try to get under the bridge across the St. Croix River between Minnesota and Wisconsin.
The last day of the full lift schedule was Tuesday.
The bridge will remain in the down position until next spring. A 24-hour notice is needed to request the lift section be raised.
Boaters and other water traffic can request the lift be raised by calling Metro Dispatch at 651-234-7110.
