MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Minneapolis City Council member accused of posting inappropriate tweets has still not commented on the controversy.
Last week, 9th Ward council member Alondra Cano tweeted out messages from constituents who expressed their dissatisfaction with her participation in the Black Lives Matter protest.
The tweets contained personal information, like addresses and phone numbers, and have since been deleted.
Cano took to her Facebook to say she has received threats about this.
WCCO-TV tried to contact Cano and her office staff about this story, but has still not heard back.
Council President Barb Johnson says while she doesn't want to comment on the conduct of another council member, the residents who had their personal information shared on Twitter may be able to file an ethics complaint against Cano.
