State Patrol: Motorcyclist Killed In Eden Prairie Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A motorcyclist died Sunday night in a crash involving three vehicles in the west Twin Cities metro, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Authorities received a report of the crash at about 6:23 p.m. on Highway 212 at the exit to Valley View Road in Eden Prairie. When officers arrived, an investigation showed a Honda motorcycle was exiting from westbound Highway 212 onto Valley View Road and jumped the median into oncoming traffic.
The motorcycle hit a Lincoln Continental and then a Cadillac CTS. The driver of the motorcycle was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center and was later pronounced dead.
The name of the motorcyclist has not been released. No information has been released on injuries involving the drivers of the other two vehicles.
The crash is under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol with assistance from the Eden Prairie Police Department.
