State Patrol: 1 Dead In Olmsted County Motorcycle Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 58-year-old woman was killed in a motorcycle crash in southeastern Minnesota Sunday night, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Authorities were called just before 6 p.m. to the area of Highway 52 at 55th Street NW in Rochester. When officers arrived, a motorcycle was heading southbound on Highway 52 with two other motorcycles when the driver lost consciousness and control of the bike.
The driver of the motorcycle crashed and was pronounced dead at the scene. She was identified by authorities as Laurie A. Snyder of Rochester. It's not known what led to the woman losing consciousness. Authorities said road conditions were dry at the time of the accident.
The Rochester Police Department assisted the Minnesota State Patrol at the scene.
