State Fair Bus Catches Fire, Nobody Injured
FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. (WCCO) – Officials with the Minnesota State Fair said a shuttle bus bringing people to the Minnesota State Fair caught fire late Saturday morning.
According to fair spokesperson Brienna Schuette, the bus was contracted to work the State Fair Park and Ride. It was bringing people from the Health Partners Park and Ride near Como Avenue and Highway 280 when its brakes started on fire.
The driver immediately evacuated everyone from the bus, and nobody was hurt in the incident. The bus was taken out of service for the day and has been replaced.
