St. Paul's Circus Juventas Turns 20
ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- Long before the big stage of Cirque de Soleil, aspiring gymnasts learn the ropes on a much smaller stage.
For 20 years, St. Paul's Circus Juventas has trained students in skills that seem impossible. Dan Butler is the founder and executive director.
"At our core, we're a youth development organization," Butler said. "Kids are learning the value of teamwork and working together for something that's bigger and better than what they could do individually."
Their classes are open to all children no matter the ability or skill level.
"There's always something for every kid, personality wise and body type," he said.
The free open house runs from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Kids can test out 10 different activities. Then at 7 p.m., there's a special anniversary performance. Tickets there are $20. Click here for more information.
