1 Dead, 2 Hurt After Shooting At Frogtown Bar
ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- Police are investigating a shooting at a St. Paul bar that left three people shot -- including one man who died from his injuries.
Authorities say it happened shortly before 3 a.m. at Malina's Sports Bar on 691 N. Dale St.
Police said the three men were shot inside the bar -- and one died at the hospital.
It's not clear what happened leading up to the shooting and police say they continue to investigate.
"Investigators continue to look at what happened before during and after the incident so they can really get a good picture of what took place," Sgt. Paul Paulos said.
St. Paul Shooting
Paulos wouldn't say if there was some kind of fight that led up to the shooting. He said they are still looking for the shooter.
The victims were transported to Regions Hospital for treatment of the gunshot wounds.
One victim, who was transported with life-threatening injuries, died at the hospital, according to police.
Police are still working with the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office to determine the identification of the man who died.
Police say Malina's bar is not typically a trouble spot for police.
One victim was treated and released and the other was admitted and is currently being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police don't believe this is a random incident. They said they are working on identifying all men involved in the shooting and will released those names at a later date.
Police haven't provided the condition of the two other men, but said they will release more information Sunday afternoon.
