St. Paul Man Brings Wood-Fire Pizza To Your Front Door
ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – We all have a favorite pizza places in the Twin Cities metro, but what if you could bring fresh wood-fired pizza to your own home?
That's what one St. Paul man does with a 3,000 pound pizza oven on wheels. Steve Lott with Big River Pizza showed us some of his specialties this week in downtown Minneapolis. He told us he gets the ingredients for his pizzas from local farmer's markets.
He's the food manager at Columbia Heights High School, but during the summer he tries his luck against food trucks. Technically he's not his own truck as it's considered an open kitchen. Instead, he works farmer's markets and private events.
