St. Cloud Police Search For Hit-And-Run Driver
ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) – St. Cloud Police are asking for help in locating a hit-and-run driver who struck a 50-year-old pedestrian on Friday morning.
At approximately 9:15 a.m. Monday, police responded to a call at the intersection of Waite Avenue and West Division Street, where a 50-year-old Waite Park resident reported that they were struck by a vehicle in the crosswalk.
The victim was hit by the left front fender or the driver's side door.
The car was a blue-to-gray-colored small Crossover or mid-size SUV. The driver briefly stopped and spoke to the victim.
The driver is described as a white female in her late 60s to early 70s, with sandy-colored hair in a bun. She was wearing glasses.
There was also a male passenger, described to be in his 70s with gray hair and glasses.
The car is believed to have yellow colored placards on the license plate area, with the dealership name possibly starting with the letter "S."
The victim's injuries were non-life threatening, and they declined medical treatment.
