St. Cloud Police: Missing 11-Year-Old Boy Found Safe
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- St. Cloud Police say a missing 11-year-old boy has been found safe.
Brennan had been last seen at his residence on the 800 block of 15th Avenue North at about 5 p.m. Thursday. His mother told investigators Brennan, who she describes as a boy with autism, fled their home by foot. Besides the weather, she was extra worried since she and her son had only been living in the area for three weeks, and he wasn't familiar with the neighborhood.
About 90 minutes later, a homeowner seven block away called 911 to report that they found a boy, later identified as Brennan, playing inside their basement. Police say he was safe and unharmed.
St. Cloud police says they were inundated with calls from citizens who offered their help to search for Brennan in Thursday's bitter cold.
