Spirit Mountain Opens For The 2015 – 2016 Season
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It may feel like spring but the winter season is here, and Spirit Mountain is ready to celebrate!
The ski area will officially open on Friday, Dec. 4. Two to three trails will be open, complete with some freestyle options.
There will be no beginner area or lessons during the opening weekend.
All operations will be run out of the Grand Avenue Chalet for this first weekend. The Skyline Chalet will be open for seasonal locker holders, but ticket, food and beverage sales, rentals and season pass pick-ups will need to be done at the Grand Avenue Chalet.
In honor of the opening weekend, Spirit Mountain will be offering a special $29 daily lift ticket Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
For the opening, Spirit Mountain is open 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Spirit Mountain said they expect daily operations to begin on Dec. 11.
