Spirit Airlines Adds Service To 4 New Cities From MSP
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis travelers looking for a cheap trip now have four more cities to choose from through Spirit Airlines.
On Thursday, Spirit Airlines announced nonstop seasonal service between Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and Los Angeles (LAX), Orlando (MCO), Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) and Tampa (TPA).
In addition, Spirit's nonstop seasonal service from MSP to Fort Lauderdale and Fort Myers resumes Thursday.
Spirit Airlines is known for their ultra-low airline fares. Additional charges can come in for carry-on and checked bags, choosing your seat and other personal options.
Spirit started service at MSP in June of 2012, initially offering service to Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver and Las Vegas.
