Study: Over 1/4 Of Americans Spend Thanksgiving With Coworkers
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The holidays are a time for friends and family...and co-workers, according to Career Builder.
A new survey by the job hunting site said 28 percent of Americans plan to spend Thanksgiving with coworkers. That's up from 20 percent last year.
Some have no choice, 24 percent of employees said they have to work on Thanksgiving. Yet, 37 percent of people ages 18 to 24 are planning to just "hang out" on the holiday.
But, whatever the reason, spending holidays with coworkers, is part of a growing trend.
