Speed Limit On Stretch Of I-94 Dropping To 50 Mph
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Starting Tuesday night, the speed limit on a large stretch of Interstate-94 is going down to 50 mph.
MnDOT is reducing the speed from Highway 55 to Interstate-694 to help protect construction workers and other drivers.
There will be extra enforcement from now through October.
Fines in construction zones start at $300, plus court fees.
The speed limit is in effect at all times, whether workers are present or not.
