'Sparky The Sea Lion' Picks Hopkins Over Edina
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – In her inaugural appearance, "Sparky the Sea Lion" had a rough go, picking Rosemount to beat Lakeville North in a South Suburban Conference showdown.
But it was the Panthers who had the final say in a 28-7 victory over the Irish. Maybe she was overconfident, maybe she didn't have enough time to do her homework.
Whatever the reason, Sparky didn't make the right choice and was despondent after going 0-1.
But now it's her chance for redemption and to get back on the winning track. Her objective this week: Pick a winner between Edina and Hopkins in the Lake Conference. Without hesitation, she went for the blue football.
